Nothing but love for the “Top Bride” of the P Funk Universe and one of the REALEST Sisters
and members of the “P” to ever ” take it to the stage.” I’ve had the pleasure of meeting the Queen a few times over the years and she always was as cool in person as she is on stage.
Appreciate You Greatly, Dawn. Thank U for all the Funk and Truth that you’ve given to all of us.
Your story is truly one of a kind. Can’t wait to read about it all.

Hello beautiful lady,I’m excited about reading your book . A relative of yours by the name of Antwan Reaves hipped me to you and now I’m a fan I can’t wait to read your book!! Congratulations on your success 🙂
I said it before and I’ll say it again. Dawn Silva has upped the game on how autobiographies should be done. In my opinion, “The Funk Queen” should be on the New York Times book list. Thank you!
Dawn Silva was my Goddess growing up as a teenager in the late 70’s thru early 80’s.
I first saw her with “The Brides of Funkenstein” on the “Aqua Boogie” tour, then a few years later, I was blessed to see her up close (but not personal) during the “Uncle Jam” tour, when she walked right past me, on her way to an awaiting limo.
I can’t wait to get my copy of the book.
I’ll make sure to read it, while I’m listening to my favorite Brides album, “Never Buy Texas From A Cowboy.”
Love & Funk Forever
🤘🏽🛸❤️
I heard Dawn’s interview on “Aced Out” Podcast as I worked out in Seoul, South Korea this morning. As a lifetime Funkateer, the interview wetted my interest in her book. I put the book on my gift wish list for my kids/grandkids to take care of me for Father’s Day, my birthday or any other Frankie T day that they need to get a gift for the Brother who has everything. Once I get it, it will be prominently displayed on my coffee table in Oaktown.
